Performance:

Case Study – Hyde Housing Association:

We have been working with Hyde Housing association since 1999. Specifically we have been involved in the recovery of "written off" accounts. Often the debts we service have already been to a number of other agencies. However, because of our specialised methodology over time we are still able to boast impressive results. The following graph displays our collection performance as a percentage of the total debt referred each year. This report was created in December 2006.

Hyde performance graph

The "% forecast" represents the amount of money that will be collected over time given the assumption that all those currently set up on "payment plans" continue to make payment. This dramatically depicts the type of pattern we see emerging time and time again. The forecasted recovery rates tend to peak at around 6 years from the point the debt accrues.

Actual collections follow the same pattern but take longer to peak. For example; if we examine the 2006 period, we see that the total amount of forecasted recovery for cases referred in that period is around 8.7%. However, we would estimate that by 2012 this figure should be approaching 50%.
