Percentage of Recovery by Year

The "% forecast" represents the amount of money that will be collected over time given the assumption that all debtors who have entered into "repayment plans" continue to make payment. The "% forecast" rate tends to peak at around 6 years from the point the debt accrues. This correlates to tracing success rates. The "% collected" rate follows the same pattern but takes longer to peak. This is because the debtor will often require a number of years to make settlement in full.

The graph illustrates the typical flow of revenue returned to the client. In this example the client has continued to make regular referrals over an 11 year period. The aim for all clients is to generate a continuous revenue stream.
